2013 marks the ten-year anniversary of the IAB’s Creative Showcase awards, honouring the best of British creativity in digital. To celebrate a decade of digital innovation, our Grand Prix honours in March were grander than ever before.

The campaign to promote the Kaiser Chiefs album The Future is Medieval has taken top honours at the IAB’s Creative Showcase Grand Prix 2011.
The ‘Kaiser Chiefs Bespoke Album Creation Experience’ - created by Wieden & Kennedy in collaboration with Specialmoves - scooped the Best Creative Award and Creativity in Social Media Awards at the IAB’s annual celebration of digital creativity.

You just have to look at this year’s Creativity in Mobile category for the IAB’s Creative Showcase Grand Prix to see that new and clever trends are emerging and working well all the time when it comes to mobile communication.
This year’s winner was Carlsberg for its clever ‘Can Catch’s’ app which used augmented reality to create an interactive on-pack game triggered by Carlsberg’s packaging. The app which launched last year by OMD UK and Lucidity Mobile created a UK media first and so was no surprise that it won the coverted Grand Prix prize for its innovation and creativity.
While using augmented reality might perhaps not be anything new...
